another planet

I haven't used blender in ages and I've decided to enter into the blenderguru competition. I was inspired by interstellar with the water planet but I wonder if you could still walk on the water and there was still life across the water and no floods? with like sci-fi things? I'm going to have to sketch a couple of thumbnails tomorrow.

All I've done so far is experimenting with the water and I made my own 2D character to measure things up. Not everything is gonna be to scale. I can imagine a child playing with the fish in the water with large floating objects in the sky.

Zbrush Holiday

So this was my last week of holiday and I feel it was well spent. My holiday started from playing allot of games, then watching allot anime and then going back to 3D learning zbrush. Dunno if I spent my last couple of weeks wisely cause I was busy watching anime in between. upset emoticon If I wasn't I feel I would've achieved more of the body pieces. I only had the feet and the head left to learn.

Personally looking forward to how I spend my time at uni next week.

Texturing hands

Decided to spend some of my free time adding in some texture. Seeing as it was a high res model (1.7 mil polys) there was no painting done on it. it was simply all sculpting. Next time If I do something like a full body then I would use NRM mapping to my advantage. All I have left now is to do the feet and head. I'm actually looking forward to doing the head.
